We occasionally make audio and video recordings of our concerts and have included some of our recent ones below. We hope you enjoy them, and if you have any problems watching or listening, please let us know!
In April 2021, the Mayor of Woodbridge and the Town Council approached Woodbridge Choral Society asking if we could do something special to help mark the end of Covid restrictions (whenever that would be). They suggested maybe a musical 'flash mob' at Whisstocks Place, by the River Deben, on a Saturday afternoon.....
This was the choir's first experience of doing a flash mob, our first opportunity to meet since the start of Covid restrictions, and we were delighted to finally be together with family, friends and neighbours to sing 'Go Tell It' and 'O Happy Day' - both pieces based on traditional spirituals, but arranged, performed, and led by our Musical Director, Andrew D Leach.
Woodbridge Choral Society would like to thank:
Sue Bale, Mayor of Woodbridge
Chris Mapey and Caroline Blois, Town Councillors
Cenzo Townshend and Rob at Decoy Studios
David Mortimer, drone cameraman
Charmian S Berry, photographer
Emma Cole and the team at The Boathouse
